Excellent and inspiring book! Highly recommended.
This book was somewhat fascinating but read something more like a work of fiction to me. The narrator sounds too earnest. My impression I think is coloured by being British which is on the whole a more secular society than the USA, I think it seemed unreal to me, I don't relate to the kind of Bible centred type of Christianity. I am an ex Christain but still a respecter of Jesus following a more intuitive spiritual type of faith. The analysis of the origins and genesis if Islam and the Koran was totally fascinating and I was interested to hear of the persons journey from being a muslim and insight into the muslim faith, that is what I was intetested in but the tone of the book to me was somewhat naive and I questioned whether it was fact or fiction

As a Christian I am greatly appreciative of the way the author allowed us to walk along with him through his exciting and then painful ending as it related to his cultural and family situation. Amazing book, it is a must need it. Starts little slow giving you the insides of a religion, but that is the foundation that will help you to understand the doubts and the battles that he fought in his mind. This book is a great journey to meet God deeply even being a Christian. I would say that is a must read book.
